Andover Outdoor Group

The Andover Outdoor Group (AOG) is a group affiliated to the YHA (Youth Hostels Association) and exists as a meeting place for people who wish to go walking and hostelling in the company of others rather than on their own. We are one of a network of such groups around the country.

The Group's aim is to organise day (Saturday and Sunday) and summer evening walks, walking weekends away staying at Youth Hostels, social events such as BBQs and Theatre/Cinema trips and sometimes a week-long holiday which is traditionally a hostel-to-hostel trek somewhere interesting in Britain, or even abroad.

Although the dates for weekends and weeks away are planned up to a year in advance (so that you can put them in your diary and chose the ones you fancy!), our programme of day and evening walks and social events is developed as the year progresses.
